Recently I’ve been on a quest for Prog. I’ve been bored waiting for the delivery of my nest ‘Spock’s Beard’ album, so I went looking for something to fill the time. And what did I stumble across? IQ. Now this song is kinda prog… But to be honest it’s more late eighties/early nineties pop masquerading as prog. But that’s fine!

So this is my very first recommendation, quite simply because this is the song that I currently have on repeat. So why this one? Well, it’s just fantastic!! Quite honestly I don’t think I’ve ever heard any song that sounds quite this good! That applies across the board, from musicianship, to songwriting and production.
