A Great Tribute by a Great Musician

The Shell, according to Club Silicon, is a tribute to the Manga phenomenon Ghost in the Shell. In the words of Brandon I am ‘uninitiated’, so I cannot comment on this part of the songs existence. However, I get the feeling this is a very large influence for Alexander and must play a part in several of his pieces. This is a truly immersive song and I urge you to download it.

Daily Rec: “A down tempo masterpiece”

So last night I started watching ‘the 4400′. It seems like it’s gonna develop into quite a good series. One thing that I really liked about it was the music. A lot of it was obviously specially composed for the show – but during one montage scene this song was used.

It was perfectly placed, it’s a very chilled song, with a strong sense of melancholy, and almost reminiscence (in an odd sort of way). Very similar to my recent post about Zero 7, it’s a down tempo masterpiece.
