It’s another misty morning in the shire, and to suit todays recommendation is a healthy mix of ambience, rhythm and mood. The Afro Celt Soundsystem are a fantastic cross over between ‘world’ and celtic music, set to a backdrop of modern western electronic sounds. The creation of producer Simon Emmerson the band play traditional celtic instruments, and sing in many styles and languages while all the time maintaining a very up to date style of dance music. This particular track is a prime example - with appearences of pipes and African chanting from the traditional side, and mellow synth-pads to driving, almost Pendulum-esque, beats and guitar! Such a great experience!
