Daily Rec: Far Away Trains Passing By - Ulrich Schnauss
Today is my first day back at work after BLOC Weekender 2009. I’m sat on the bus on the way to the office still thinking about the last few days. Outside the air is filled with the haze of morning mist. And I am listening to the perfect soundtrack for such a morning. Ulrich Schnauss was the opening act on the second day of the festival, and was without doubt one of the top acts I saw over the three days. His music is a mass of ambience, breakbeat, downtempo and shoegaze - an absolutely massive live sound! The only reason I have picked this song over the others is because it happened to be on when I started writing this, but quite honestly I would recommend anything this man has touched!
