I’ve recently become aware of the genre ‘Post-Rock’. I’ll be honest, I’ve no idea what it means! But apparently this band is a perfect example. Just sounds like mellow rock or pop to me, but there we go!
That’s pretty much all you can say about this. It’s an extremely delicate tune, almost bitter sweet – in it’s own little way. Very relaxing and calming. It’s quite similar to Kings of Convenience in that respect. It sorta puts your mind at ease.
Although it never properly ‘takes off’ all the elements build together and develop as the song goes on. Which is perfect!
It’s a nice evening or late night song, or morning tune… well truth be told, it’s just a great song!
