Time for another installment of the Recommended Music Blog Driving Songs Playlist! Last time I posted one of these I only had rock/metal songs in the list, this time I’ve gone for a different approach. There are still a few rock tunes, but there are also quite a few dance songs too! Either way, every song I’ve included is here because when it comes on in the car it makes me want to drive just that little bit faster ;p

I’m not going to give you a full review of each song, it’s up to you to decide if you like it or not! But I’ll give you a short run down. This play list starts and ends with two fantastic electro-house songs. If you’re familiar with the French Touch wave of artists you’ll probably know these songs already, and if you don’t you really should!

There’s some cheesy classic rock/pop-rock songs from Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi – because we might as well all admit that there’s something inside of us that says “yeah!” every time you hear them on the radio!

We’ve got some nu-rave in the form of Justice and CSS. The lead synth in Phantom Pt.II just cuts through you, it’s fantastic! The song by CSS is from their latest album, Donkey and is an electro masterpiece!

Dragonforce head up the metal division this time, with Black Winter Nights, an insanely fast speed/power-metal song that begs the question “how do they manage that!?”

We also have some generic dance tunes. DT8 Projects The Sun is Shining is your average Trance song, but it has an amazingly energetic climax that’s perfect for the road. Similarly We Like To Party has a raw guitar sample that almost cancels out the bad vocals…
